The national media has discovered Buffalo in a big way. In the last three days, both the New York Post and The New York Times have published glowing articles about our community. You can check them out here:

By the way, the Times piece was introduced in the Table of Contents as follows:

“Art biennials, big-ticket concerts, major new buildings — the culturati are going to be on the move this summer. What’s worth the trip? T surveys the global artistic landscape and picks the best of the best.”

dozendistdest_logo_greenUnless you’ve lived under a rock for the past week, you should’ve heard about the two latest accolades that Buffalo has received.

Last week The New York Times published their annual list of 44 Places to Visit in 2009 where Buffalo ranked #37 amongst a list of worldwide destinations.

Followed by yesterday’s reveal that Buffalo was named one of the Dozen Distinctive Destinations for 2009 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

We strongly encourage you to download the Dozen Distinctive Destinations logo from our website and use the logo within your emails or added to your letterhead for 2009. It’s a wonderful honor to receive and once again puts Buffalo on the map for reasons other than our weather. Wherever you place the logo on your website, please link it to the press release on the CVB website. The link is below:
